In its 11th year, Poonfecta will take place September 18th-21st, 2025. Building off the success of the previous 10 years, this years tournament will be focused on bringing awareness to protecting juvenile tarpon habitat around the Tampa Bay watershed and the entire state.

A limited number of spots are available on a first come, first serve basis. Team entry for the event is $225.
We've made a few changes this year. The event will no longer have a smallest tarpon award. Anglers will be encouraged to only target the three sizes selected during the kickoff event on Thursday night. Anglers will also be required to submit pictures of fish being measured while still in water. We will be supplying teams with measuring tapes to make this easier. Instead of the traditional captain's party, this year's mandatory kickoff event taking place on Thursday 9/18 at Bar Fly at 6pm. This event will include a panel discussion about juvenile tarpon, their fragile habitats and efforts around the state to protect them. 1 angler from each team is required to attend.
