Presented in partnership with Tampa Bay Waterkeeper, 9FT is a short film that explores the connection between fly fishing, mental health, and the places that shape us.

 

Set against the waters of Tampa Bay, the film follows Dylan Barker as he reflects on the quiet pull of the outdoors and the way time spent on the water can bring clarity, purpose, and a deeper sense of connection.

 

More than a fishing film, 9FT is a reminder of why protecting our local waterways matters, not only for the fish and wildlife that depend on them, but for the people who find peace, identity, and healing there.
